A magnificent diamond cluster ring from the Early Victorian (ca1850) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in 18kt yellow gold and sterling silver, creating a fabulous mixed metals appeal. Nine Rose Cut diamonds gently glitter as they form a beautiful cluster design,?collectively weighing approximately 0.65ctw. Each stone is held in a sterling silver setting, catching the light brilliantly with every turn. The sterling silver shoulders are adorned by a rosy 18kt yellow gold split shank design, its pattern carrying through the band. The bottom of the band is marked with a?French dog head and two indistinguishable hallmarks.?An absolutely gorgeous Early Victorian piece, it would make a perfect statement piece for special occasions, or a unique engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6, but could be re-sized. The diamond cluster measures 7/16" in diameter, and rests 1/8" above the finger when worn.

Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver-topped gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set. There is a natural darkened patina on the sterling silver, which is common given the age and adds to the unique beauty of the piece. Due to the hand-cut nature of old Rose Cut diamonds, the stones are not perfectly symmetrical. This reflects the age and genuine appearance of antique diamonds.
