A dainty, vintage charm, modeled as a first aid kit, by the well-known makers Sloan & Co., in 14k yellow gold. This beautifully-made first aid box opens to reveal a group of tiny medical supplies— a roll of "gauze," a bottle of "pills," etc., all enameled in red, blue, and white. This miniature is special and a rarity— Sloan & Co. made the finest, most intricate, whimsical charms of their day! It would be a sweet, sentimental gift for a nurse or an EMT, or for some especially klutzy beloved other!We like these little charms worn alone, or in small groups, on a slender neck chain.
